Amos Lee is a native Philadelphian, and at just 27 years of age this guy’s got a lot to offer.  He wrote all the songs on his debut, self-titled CD and he’s a graceful guitarist as well as a very smooth, understated, and engaging singer.  Pull the kids away from American Idol and let them hear what real soul singing is… easy on the gimmicks and heartfelt.  Word.  It’s available on the EMI label, and may be downloaded legally through I-Tunes.
